Lorca Catskills Houses

Cute little cottage that was perfect to share our 1st wedding anniversary together. We shopped local antiques, and the cottage had all of the necessities for us to shop the local farmers market and make a relaxing meal together. Thank you for having us!

Walking in the door, you are immediately struck by the absolute peacefulness and serenity of the place. The backyard and the creek made for an absolutely lovely weekend. The place provided everything we could have asked. The house appears small on the outside, but when you step inside it's very roomy and spacious. There was only two of us, but this would have been incredibly comfortable for two couples. We took full advantage of the fire pit, and the picturesque creek. Check in and check out were so simple and the hosts were promptly responsive to anything we asked. We would absolutely stay here again.

Needed to leave the city to escape the heat and couldn’t have asked for a better spot! This minimalist cabin was just what I needed— quiet evenings, cooling creek…would stay again!

We booked a last minute trip upstate to escape the heat in the city and construction in our building. So glad we found this house - it is rustic and cozy and spacious, with comfortable beds and a light filled kitchen. Definitely recommend staying here.

Our stay was just want we needed. It was our first getaway as parents and even our 6 month old enjoyed himself. This place has all the charm of a private cottage with the basic needs of today (no TV) but you shouldn’t need it in this beautiful local. Perfect distance from town and great hiking. David is a great host, who responds quickly to all of my silly questions and Tina is a gem. She was gracious with her time and gave us a life long memory that we can share with our son when he gets a little older. Thank y’all for a wonderful weekend!

Loved this cabin! Being next to the stream was so relaxing and it was great being close to so many towns. We loved it so much that we ended up booking an extra day last minute.

A lovely getaway; the cabin was tidy, the bed was extremely comfortable, and all of the amenities worked flawlessly (WiFi included :)). A great place to get away from it all.

We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful surroundings! Our puppy, a 12 week old golden retriever, loved the backyard and the area. She spent so much time outdoors sniffing! There also a great dog park a couple of minutes away to where we took her to tire her a bit before we went to the Phoenicia Dinner - great spot. Cabin was extremely cozy and well located/ easy to find.
